How is Restaurant Lunar & Bar supporting sustainable dining in Auckland?
Located at Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport, Restaurant Lunar & Bar incorporates rescued and sustainably sourced ingredients into selected dishes on our menus.
Through our partnership with Rescued Kitchen, 96kg of surplus food was rescued over six months, helping avoid 147kg of CO₂e emissions and retain 13,700 litres of embodied water.
At Restaurant Lunar & Bar, sustainably sourced flour is used in our Pumpkin & Sage Gnocchi, while rescued raisins featured in our Dark Chocolate & Raisin Parfait. Rescued ingredients are also transformed into muffins, cakes, chutney and other products across the restaurant.
